FKSR President Marina Sechina summarized the interim results of the FKSR

In anticipation of the final important tournaments of the sports season it would be important to summarize the interim results of the FKSR!

Over the past three years, a large-scale work has been done in the field of international policy on interaction with the FEI, the results of which we see this season.

In February, we held the highest level of a prestigious international event - a seminar for dressage judges of 5 stars.

I am happy that in the conditions of fierce competition and a difficult political situation, we still defended the right to host the Tokyo Tour, the qualification tournament for the 2020 Olympic Games. And our dressage team was able to take this unique opportunity and will defend the honor of our country in the next Olympic Games in Tokyo for the first time since 1992!

The most important event for the development of equestrian sports in Russia was the first Eurasia Championship 2019 held in our country.

I am very proud that our dressage team will represent Russia at the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam.

We are confident in the potential of our national teams and believe that in the near future Russia will be able to compete with equestrian leaders and perform at the highest level.

This year will end with the holding of the FEI General Assembly in Moscow with the participation of presidents of equestrian federations from around the world. It is a great honor, a high appraisal of our activities by the entire international equestrian community and an indisputable achievement of the work of the FKSR team!

Unfortunately, I have to admit the fact that due to the lack of competent coaching management in recent years, not all national teams in the Olympic disciplines of equestrian sports were able to prove themselves in the best way. We understand that there is a need for changes in key personnel and approaches.

By the end of the year, we will form a new team of professionals, which will work with national teams to achieve high results in the next Olympic cycle.

I thank everyone for the work done and will do everything so that Russia takes its rightful place in the sport of top achievements!
