The Dressage Festival in Vidauban was the first Championship for horsetimes team.
According to Valeriy Tishkov, the horsetimes team coach, the main goal of participation in Vidauban Dressage Festival was to get scores for attending to the European Championship and observing the Andalusian horse Zingaro performance.
“Of course we were very glad about the results, - says the General Director of horsetimes Oleg Efremov, - we were prize-winners in about all of the Categories. There will be an Expert Panel after the Vidauban Dressage Festival in order to analyze our mistakes.”
The results of our team are valuable. Anna Mazur from Moscow in pair with Karamazoff won in the Junior Team category and became the second in the Juniors Individual category.
“My objective was to perform neatly and even to get even results from all Judges” –comments Anna. She also admits that she wants to participate in the European Championship with Karamazoff very much.
The rider from St. Petersburg Kseniya Milyukova can be proud of her results too. She became the third in the Junior Team category.
“This project is very important for me. Nobody could actually believe in it until we packed the horses to the horse carriage. It is the first time I go to the Championship and feel real support from my team. It means a lot when somebody is truly worried about your performance”.
Ivan Antonichka and Zingaro performed in the Intermediate competition and took the 5th place.
“In order to prepare the horse for Grand Prix we decided to perform in St. Georges Prix at first. Than we plan to continue with the U25 program. My horse has just started to perform in St. Georges Prix category. I hope that we will do everything properly. Horsetimes team helps a lot with it.”
The members of the Expert Panel had a chance to meet Catalina Machmudova-Petrenko, a rider from Spain. She was one of the first to apply to horsetimes team. Though she was born in Spain, she would love to represent Russia on the international scene. Catalina became the third in Show Jumping in Vidauban.
“We are very glad. I wanted to show that I have Russian blood despite the fact that I was born in Spain”, - says Catalina.
“I saw the announcement of horsetimes team admission on facebook, - mentions Catalina’s mother Natalya Machmudova Petrenko, and I was happy about it. It is great that finally a team of Russian riders is being formed. It is a great opportunity for young people to reveal their talent”.
In addition to great results the Vidauban Dressage Festival encouraged the horsetimes team unity. During the time of the Festival the managers, the riders and the coaches had a chance to feel a real team spirit.
