On June 30, representatives of six countries fought in the MAXIMA PARK for receiving the coveted Olympic team qualification: Azerbaijan, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia and Uzbekistan. The riders passed a two-gig route with an obstacle height of up to 160 cm from course designer Olaf Peterson Jr. In the stands gathered numerous spectators who supported their teams.
A beautiful victory was won by the Israeli team of Dani G. Waldman, Daniel Bluman, Elad Yaniv and Ashlee Bond. The sum of the results of the three best athletes amounted to 16 penalty points.
The second place with a minimum lead of 1 point went to the Polish team. The national team included Andrzej Oplatek, Jan Bobik and Krzysztof Ludwiczak.
The Russian tricolour was defended by Vladimir Tuganov, Mikhail Safronov, Natalia Simonia and Maria Bibikova. Team won the third prize.
The fourth place went to the team of Uzbekistan. The teams of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan were excluded from the competition.
The President of the Equestrian Federation of Russia Marina Sechina thanked all the participants and spectators at the awards ceremony for the winners and prize-winners, wishing great mood. “We are pleased with the victories and results of all athletes, not only from Russia. Equestrian sport has always been and will be a unifying factor for friendship, cooperation, for mutual, kind, open relations between countries,” said Marina Sechina.
