Fancy riding is one of the most spectacular types of the equestrian sports. Every element has its own history and purpose in battle. Today, the masters of the Kremlin Horse Riding School show these elements in their stunts continuing the tradition of military art.
“There were times when the Cossacks jumped to their feet in the saddle in full gallop, scaring the horses of the enemy. They might as well, having hung on for the ride, shoot the enemies”, says the three-time Russian Champion, Pavel Polyakov.
It is also important that the riders of the Kremlin Horse Riding School perform on the horses of Russian breeds: Budenovskaya and Russian riding ones, promoting the Russian equestrian traditions both at home and abroad.
